Job Title: Senior Administrator - Learning & Development Department, Irish League of Credit Unions, 33-41Lr Mount Street, Dublin 2. Reporting to: L&D Advisor/Head of L&D Department. Liaise with: L&D team members, ILCU Staff, Credit union staff and volunteers, accreditation partner, tutors (internal & external. Contract: 3 year fixed term contract. Overview. The Learning & Development Department is positioned within the Irish League of Credit Unions. The department provides a wide range of development interventions for credit union staff and volunteers, individuals and teams. Purpose. The L&D Senior Administrator is a key operational role that ensures the efficient coordination and administration of the accredited programmes delivered by the L&D Department in cooperation with our accreditation partners. Reporting to the L&D Advisor, this role will act as a main contact with students, tutors and the accreditation partners on all operational and administrative matters concerning the accredited programmes. This role be responsible for the setup and maintenance of accredited programme records within the Learning Management System. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Act as a point of contact for tutors and students on matters relating to the accredited programmes. Ensure efficient administration of courses using our learning management system CU Learn . Maintain all operational elements of the learning management system in consultation with the L&D Advisor. Liaise with the accreditation partners in relation to administrative matters regarding accredited programmes. Work with content developers to ensure programme content meets learning needs and academic standards. Maintenance of programme documentation (e.g. procedures and instructional materials) under the direction of the programme management team. Co-ordinate assessment marking process in line with quality standards. Oversee the student support structures of programmes. Assist in the quality assurance process through the coordination of programme evaluation and the reporting of feedback in a timely manner. Maintain student records to support the enrolment, operation and assessment of programmes. Proofing and formatting of programme materials. Set up online webinar presentations. Work with the team to ensure consistent communication with students enrolled on the accredited programmes. Day-to-day operational issues within the department include: Handling of telephone enquiries; general correspondence; production of reports; photocopying etc. relating to the Department. Co-ordinate, assist or attend, as requested, in departmental meetings. Carry out any other reasonable request not specifically mentioned above as may be directed by the Head of L&D/L&D Advisor. Person Specification: Required: Minimum of 3 years administration experience, preferably in an education or accredited training environment. Experience of set-up and maintaining training administration IT systems and/or a learning management system (LMS) to run training programmes. Previous experience of using training IT systems / LMS to set up programmes, generate reports and track student activity. A good overall knowledge of all areas involved in the maintenance of a training IT system /learning management system. Experience in the administration of accredited training programmes. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High level of organisational/multi-tasking skills. A proven ability to prioritise and manage own work schedule in accordance with pre-defined parameters and standards. A proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines. Excellent customer service and student support skills. Excellent interpersonal and team working skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong I.T. skills (Specifically Word, Excel, Access, and Internet experience, development of webinars. A willingness to develop and maintain an understanding of both credit union and educational matters through on-going professional development. Desirable: Experience of working in a regulated sector (preferably the credit union or financial services sector. Experience of developing and/or editing training materials. Experience working in a learning and development environment. A full clean driver’s license. Additional Information. Please note that infrequent travel within the island of Ireland and occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
