Programme Executive - Offshore Renewable Energy

I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Executive to join my client's team and support the development of the offshore renewable energy sector in Ireland. As a Programme Executive, you will play a key role in contributing to the strategic direction of the company's Offshore Renewable Energy Programme, supporting the delivery of relevant actions under key government plans, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to advance the creation of an indigenous offshore renewables energy industry. Responsibilities: Provide authoritative business advice, guidance, and support for the development of the ORE sector in Ireland. Contribute to the strategic direction of the company ORE Programme. Support the delivery of relevant actions under key Government plans. Support programme and grant administration and any other duties as required. Assist with strategic planning for future requirements, adapt to changes effectively including providing input to policy development. Develop and maintain strong business relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with international bodies and other facilities in relation to research and development and other work packages. Represent the company at national and international events to promote the offshore renewable energy programme and the Irish ocean energy sector. Knowledge & Skills: Proven ability in programme and project management including taking full ownership and management of design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of a project from end-to-end. A proactive approach to achieving results, including managing project scope, time, risk assessment, cost, and quality. Flexible approach to problem solving and decision making to ensure the best solution is achieved focusing on the need for greater efficiency and effective delivery. Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to represent the company in a public forum. Ability to foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and external stakeholders. Good numeracy skills, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to multitask, manage competing demands and work effectively to deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines and milestones. Well-developed IT skills. Experience & Qualifications. Third level qualification i.e. Degree and/or equivalent qualification in Economics / Engineering / Science. Four years' work experience in a related field. Tack record and expertise in project management of multi-disciplinary projects. Excellent organisation skills together with the ability to prioritise work and manage a wide variety of tasks with a proven track record in meeting deadlines. Ability to exercise initiative and to be able to operate independently. Experience in working in energy system/services. Experience working directly with ocean energy and/or offshore wind developers and advantage. Experience in working in international research projects.
