This is an opportunity for an experienced Operations Leader to join a landmark destination in the heart of Dublin to lead their food and beverage team. While you will hold a small number of direct reports, you will ultimately be responsible for leading and motivating a team of over 100 staff. You will work alongside the Sales and Marketing, HR and Finance functions striving to provide a wonderful customer experience time and time again for every patron. The Position. Create expectations, lead people, train employees, manage processes and hold people accountable for the agreed upon activities and timetables. Act as a brand ambassador at all times. Communicate with the MD and leadership team regarding issues, risk and liability concerns that could impact the operation as they arise. Consistently monitor Quality Assurance Program results, create and execute action plans where needed. Ensuring everything is fully prepared for each days operations. To be aware that the atmosphere of the business meets company standards at all time such as cleanliness, lighting, temperature and music, gathering information from the MoD on a daily basis. Ensure staff are performing all duties to a consistently high standard and maximize revenues in all areas and encourage up-selling. Along with your AGM's, execute professional and efficient complaint handling. Use technology effectively to communicate and manage throughout the business. Use business analysis, competitor and consumer insights to provide understanding, direction and guidance around key initiatives. And lots lots more. The Person. Must have 5-10 years' experience in hospitality operations management, including 3 years in a leadership role. Authority, presence, maturity and toughness - actions rather than action plans. Evidence of having built a strong operational team. High energy levels and accustomed to non-standard working hours and effort ("whatever it takes" mentality.
