Job Title HR Data Specialist

HR Data & Continuous Improvement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Work from own initiative taking lead from stakeholders to seek out and identify inefficiencies, wasteful procedures, self-service opportunities and paper heavy processes across all elements of HR
  • To begin with focus will be heavily geared towards business process improvement and data cleansing, discipline and management
  • Work with the HR Team to understand how we work, conduct project scope exercise, mapping out the multiple HR processes
  • Review HR Data collection, storage and management systems and processes
  • Develop program plan to included monthly progress report, agreed milestones and measurable outputs
  • Responsible for establishing pathway towards self-service model and new HRIS migration and implementation
  • Responsible for establishing pathway towards a people analytics capability
  • Facilitate project meetings, track progress and report on progress
  • Mid-term focus will shift to low level automation (macros), data source development
  • Later stage focus on migrating to new HRIS and people data reporting and insights
  • Work with GDPR Project Manager and HR Team to ensure alignment with GDPR policies

Education & Experience

  • HR / Business / IT Degree
  • Data management, Data Analysis
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six sigma principles, experience of Business Process Improvement
  • Microsoft Excel - advanced
  • Microsoft Sharepoint


  • Proactive, energetic, innovative self- starter with a passion for fixing problems and process improvement
  • Advanced communication skills / good influencing skills
  • Passion for HRIS and Data
  • HR Team, processes and people data exposure
