Sr Accounts Payable | Global HR Consultancy | SW Dublin | Up to 42K + Benefits. An incredibly exciting senior accounts payable position has become available at a leading universal HR consultancy located in South West Dublin. Salary is extremely competitive and is up to 42,000 for the ideal candidate. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly supportive Accounts Payable Team Lead. Join the firm on its journey to grow their AP team, enhance their AP processes and grow your career. The role involves overseeing the inventory section of the department. Central to the role is servicing all key stakeholders and making a value-added contribution to the AP function. Responsibilities: Supervise daily workload on 2 AP administrators. Supporting month end close, ensuring all tasks are completed by due dates. Goods received not invoiced and stock in transit reconciliations. AP subledger reconciliation to general ledger. Reviewing supplier reconciliations for all key vendors. Ownership of payments for all inventory vendors. Driving term improvements with inventory vendors. Building relationships with key stakeholders, in particular the Purchasing team. Review invoice batches, ensuring correct GL coding, descriptions, VAT etc. Maintain master data for inventory vendors. Play an active role in AP projects. Documenting procedures and suggesting process improvements. Cash flow forecasting. Reporting on KPIs. Supporting other AP specialists for operating expenses and floats. Supporting annual and interim audits. ERP user group representative. Preparing and making presentations as required. Requirements: 4-6 years accounts payable experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent experience using Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, charts, formulas etc.) Good experience using Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience using an ERP system (e.g. Epicor, SAP etc.). Ideally experience in Management/coaching of Accounts Payable persons.
