Job Title Logistics Administrator

A global air quality and biotechnology company dedicated to decreasing airborne viruses, bacteria, particulates, mold, VOCs and odours is seeking an enthusiastic Administrator with experience arranging International shipments by air, road and sea to join their International operations in Dublin.

The Position

As the new Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring all outbound shipments are handled in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. You will be managing the relationship and day to day activities of several logistics providers, responsible for determining the optimum method of shipment by utilising knowledge of shipping procedures, rates and routes and maintaining stock management and reporting of inventories at a number of locations. As part of the remit of your role, you will also:

  • Control the return and replacement of faulty devices from customers
  • Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs) for parts and materials required for R&D team
  • Update and maintain CRM software, creating and running metrics reports
The Person

The ideal Logistics Administrator will be Degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience in international shipping / logistics. You will also be required to have Technical knowledge of shipping by air, road and sea. As part of the individual competencies the new logistics Administrator will possess:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent IT proficiency (MS Office), Salesforce experience would be an advantage
