Product Management Specialist-Dublin. Responsibilities of the Role: Ensure the local sales teams are kept updated on key operational issues affecting clients. Monitor multiple funds' NAVs, underlying data and general performance. Contribute to operational sales effectiveness by establishing relationships with the Sales Team and Consultants and co-ordinating every day interactions dealing with prioritisation, queries and general information sharing. As the client moves from potential to win, liaise with both the Centralised Implementation Team in Dublin to ensure a smooth transition to implementation phase. Work closely with the Chief Operating Officers and Heads of Operations to ensure that all non-standard and/or new processes are sufficiently managed and controlled from a risk perspective. As the business enters new markets, provide input and support in all aspects including tax and regulatory requirements liaising with our internal legal and compliance depts. Answer ad hoc requests and assist with special projects as needed; for example, budget process, other sales initiatives. Maintain structured reporting and consultation with key stakeholders, updating them as appropriate with progress, costs, risks and issues. Recommend and drive forward improvements to processes and practices in line with industry best practice. Establish excellent working relationships with operations, client services, sales teams, Investments, Compliance and Legal. Through the use of the project plans, work with each area involved in the product development process to ensure all parties are clear with regard their responsibilities. Manage the various parties in the product process to work together to achieve all agreed deadlines and that any slippages in the timetable or issues arising are agreed up front and communicated in an agreed manner to the client. Demonstrate a consistent commitment to Service Quality at all times through individual actions and communications with the team. Producing updates on industry and regulatory developments to inform and support colleagues. Experience and Qualifications Required: Minimum 4-5 years' experience working within the Asset Management Industry or Funds Industry, with a relevant university degree. Possess a strong understanding of both the asset management industry and funds industry. Including Investment Fund legal structures and regulatory frameworks (UCITS and AIFs) and applicable asset management regulations (e.g. AIFMD. Possess a good understanding of the distribution requirements for Irish funds across global jurisdictions. Excellent planning and organisational skills and proven ability to manage complex projects in a pressurised, highly visible and deadline driven environment. Ability to plan and manage a number of ongoing initiatives simultaneously, working as part of a team and having the ability to work on own initiative as required.
