Purchasing Administrator required for a Global Distibution based in the Dublin West area. This job woudl suit a graduate with a number of years Administrative experience, ideally in the purchasing area. Sal guidance c €28-31k. Some benefits on top. Skills required for this role: Must be highly organised and efficient. Strong Computer Skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Good record keeping skills. This job will involve managing the day to day activity within the purchasing department across a section of agreed categories and associated suppliers. Ensure stock is available to meet customer requirments. This role will have responsibility for stock movement: Stock availability - in line with history and forecasts. Supplier Performance Management - initiate a formal review process with all major suppliers to include delivery terms, delivery performance , stock cleanse. Non stock line due dates to be kept current on system via supplier acknowledge system and chasing. Minimise redundant stock, manage sales forecasts, in line with company financial targets. Supplier and product data maintenance - relevant supplier files and product codes to be maintained in line with terms as approved by Category Managers. Monthly reporting of targets - update Inventory manager of set targets established , returns to suppliers, savings etc. Initiate continuous improvement projects - to improve supply and logistics of purchasing function.
