Events Administrator in the Commercial Department supporting the Commercial Manager to coordinate functions and events, both internal and external. The company are based in Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2 for a 3 month contract. Salary: 25K. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Events Administrator will: Collaborate with the Commercial Department to maximise the potential of events in the company. Assist in creating sales and leads in the revenue generating area of functions and events. Foster and consolidate on existing links with Corporate and / or external organisations, Corporate Partners and Sponsors and working with such companies and organisations during their event planning processes. Deliver the Functions and Events Policy. Ensure all clients work within the suppliers list and policy guidelines. Coordinate and administer functions and events at a high professional standard. Collaborate with the Operations Department with the delivery of events and ensure functions and events are within Health and Safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to current and prospective clients, both front of house and by phone / email. Co-ordinate the events calendar for the company and process new bookings. Work on tasks independently and within the Event’s team. Effectively deal with all queries relating to events. Be resourceful and proactive in their work. The successful candidate will have: Previous experience in the area of functions and events. Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of information management systems. Adept organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines and contribute to reports where necessary. An ability to work on own initiative and as part of an effective team.
