Payroll Clerk (Professional Services)
Experienced Payroll Administrator needed for the vibrant Payroll team of one of the well known professional services firm. Reporting to: Service Delivery Manager. Salary: 38,000 - 40,000. Start date: January/February 2018. Summary of the role: You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payrolls for the Bureau clients on Europay & Payday Payroll software. Responsibilities: Processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for clients. Calculating and entering of all amendments e.g. starters, leavers, tax certs, P45's, deductions, allowances etc. Accurately process payroll instructions received from clients - produce and check payroll reports prior to dispatch to clients. Liaising with clients regarding payroll queries. P45 filing via ROS (new employees and leavers. Strict adherence to timetables for processing payrolls. Monthly and annual tax returns - P30s, P35s and P60s. Assist the Payroll Manager where required. Keep updated with regulatory changes impacting payroll services. Candidate's profile: 3 years payroll experience is required in a busy processing environment (bureau, practice. Strong knowledge of Excel. Strong attention to detail. Experience of working to tight deadlines and under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. Work as a team player with the ability to prioritise work and work independently to deliver and meet deadlines set by the Payroll Manager. Enthusiastic and passionate about delivering the highest standard of service. Good time management, administration and organisational skills.
