The Director of Corporate Operations will head up the HRB’s corporate functions. This role reports to the Chief Executive and is a member of the HRB’s Executive Team. The purpose of the post is to provide leadership and direction for the HRB in the areas of business planning, corporate governance, communications, human resource management, finance management, and information technology. S/he will ensure that the Corporate Operations Directorate supports other areas of the HRB in undertaking their work and ensure that the HRB is legally compliant and functions in accordance with public sector policy regulations. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader and experienced manager. S/he will have a proven record as a senior manager, with experience in the implementation of strategic and other initiatives, and an ability to demonstrate this through clear examples of achievements. The candidate will have proven experience in understanding business functions and planning, and excellent coordination, communication and influencing skills.
