Marketing Assistant. Role Summary: This is a business-critical position which will be key for future growth of the business. This role will assume all responsibility for marketing activity across several brands within our portfolio –including a mix of high growth company owned brands and distributed brands. Typical Daily Duties will include: Preparation & implementation of marketing strategy to drive performance of company owned brands. Working in conjunction with brand partners and colleagues in commercial team to implement marketing strategy and activity for distributed brands. Management of significant marketing budget. Marketing activities undertaken will include – traditional media (TV/Radio/Print/Outdoor), Digital Media (Paid Search, Display, Social), PR, Sponsorship, Events, In Store POS material etc. Management of company/brand websites and social media channels. Post campaign evaluation and analysis for all activities undertaken. Working with Business Development Manager to create brand presence at relevant events including recruitment of casual/agency staffing, blitz sales teams, pop-up shops etc. Working alongside Commercial Manager to identify new opportunities for brand development of company owned brands including new product introductions, packaging improvements, new product formats etc. Brand representation at customer meetings. Creation of category management and in store display solutions to increase brand presence at point of purchase. Take ownership of market analysis (Nielsen, Kantar, EYC) to fully understand the market and update business on continuing changes within the market. Education & Qualifications Required: Degree in Marketing advantageous. Experience Required : 3-5 Years in fast paced, marketing environment. Demonstrable experience in managing return on investment for significant marketing budget. High levels of creativity in approach to brand activation. Social Media & Digital Marketing experience. Experience of working with external agencies (design, media buying, PR, contract staffing etc.) Due to the urgency of this vacancy, our client is not willing to go down the route of work permits/visas/sponsorship, therefore, all candidates must have permission to work in Ireland.
