The Noel Group are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Voice Picker for a busy warehouse based in South Dublin. Full Time and Part Time/Weekend. General Warehouse Operative/ Voice Picker: Operate under the supervision of a manager or team leader. Will be responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, customer service and organizing for the shipping of merchandise stored in the warehouse. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities. Receive goods delivered to the warehouse, check delivery docket and stock is intact and report any defects. Assist in unloading containers from the forklifts and loading them on delivery trucks or vans. Count and record the number of product items on receipt of merchandise. Store goods according to the designated system of storage in the warehouse. Rotate Stock when allocating product. Pick and fulfil orders for customers. Communicate low stock levels to Management. Communicate stock deficiencies to Management. Communicate backorders and take orders from customers by email or phone. Answer customer queries regarding stock and pricing. Choose appropriate packing materials and containers and pack products in accordance to product safety protocols i.e. Fragile/ Temperature Controlled, and label customer deliveries for post; Receive and Invoice goods using our IT System. Maintain both shipping and receiving logs. Conduct periodic stock takes. Quarantine and log out of date stock. Maintain a clean and tidy work place at all times. Key Competencies. Strong understanding of the workings of a stores/ warehouse. Health and Safety awareness/ training. Good understanding of stock control. Strong organisation skills and time management.
