Our Client a well established freight and logistics company now require an Air/Ocean Freight operator for their offices based Dublin South, In this function you will be responsible for the operational handling and follow-up of a portfolio of ocean as well as air customers. This function encompasses the issuing of transportation documents, customs, building vendor relationships, customer service to internal and external customers, agents and offices. Job Specification: Handling shipment from booking to delivery. Issuing quotations directly to clients / procurement of rates. Undertaking of inputting booking on our operational system, being Azyra. Issuing pre-Advice and then Advice of Arrival and Release Orders to the Clients. Arranging Customs Clearance and Delivery when required. Invoicing the Clients. Accruing charges from Creditors. Dealing with Operations problems/queries with Overseas Offices/Partners and clients whenever required. Other duties as deemed necessary. Minimum Requirements: Strong experience in an Air /Ocean operations role. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge and experience with customs procedures and formalities. Ability to solve problems under pressure. Native/fluent English speaker. Hands on mentality, eager to learn, prepared to walk the extra mile. Terms: Full time, Permanent. Package: €Neg(DOE.
