Are you an experienced Catering Officer, Catering Supervisor or Catering Manager? Are you looking for a job in Dublin South? Want to work Monday to Friday, day hours? Our client a HSE Elder and Community Care unit requires a Qualified and Experienced Catering Officer to cover a vacant post. You will be required to oversee (and be hands on in) the delivery of first class catering and hospitality services with a small catering team. Excellence in HACCP, Health & Safety is a must. Comfortable with excel and SAP and keeping lines of communication open with the unit manager will be important in the role. This is a three month rolling contract with employment through the agency. Job Title: Catering Officer (Agency Cover. Location: Dublin South (County Dublin. Salary: €35’000 to €38’000 PA. Facility: Healthcare – Community & Elder Care Unit. Required Qualifications & Experience: •A Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Hotel and Catering Management or Institutional Management granted by a recognised College after a course of not less than two years or (ii) A Diploma in Dietetics granted by a recognised College. •At least three year's satisfactory experience in the direction and control of the catering arrangements for an institution or other establishment. •Candidates must possess intensive HACCP & hygiene knowledge and understanding - must be comfortable to apply standards with full team and monitor and report any issues (uniforms, deep clean, recording standards. •Excellent people management and organisational skills.
