Healthwave is Ireland's first nationwide delivery pharmacy based in Dublin. Launched in 2014, our mission is to give access to cheaper medicines to everyone in Ireland. We now deliver prescriptions to over 15,000 members in every county! We have built our own platform to manage orders and payments as well as a consumer facing website. We are now looking for an enthusiastic developer to join us in Dundrum to maintain and improve our platform as well as providing general IT support to the team. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of: - Modern JavaScript Frameworks, HTML, CSS. - MVC frameworks, object Injection, events, related active records and collections. - REST APIs. - Relational SQL databases such as MySQL. - PHP. - Basic UNIX / Linux. Useful skills. - Shopify development. - Node.js. - Meteor. - AngularJS. - Wordpress developing (plugin's, themes,...) - Database migration tools. - GitHub, Pull Requests, Merging and Git flow. - VMs, Vagrant, Puppet. Responsibilities will include: - Becoming an expert in our products, our business logic and our customer’s needs. - Writing production code that will improve our product through the addition of new features or improvement of existing ones. - Supporting the digital marketing team with front-end website updates (HTML & JS. - Resolving technical issues and providing support to customers and staff. - Reporting to management team with SQL queries. Location: The role will be based at our offices off our pharmacy in Dundrum, Dublin 16. The successful candidate will work as the sole IT employee in an office with our digital marketing at customer care team. Closing date for applications is Friday 2nd February at 5pm.
