Description

Our client, a global Dublin based pharmaceutical company, are currently recruiting for a Commercial Lead for their new testing division. Purpose. To lead the commercialisation of Medicine testing in Ireland ensuring the company Medicine partnership strategy is implemented and best in class experience is achieved by all users. Responsibilities. Promote and sell diagnostic services and solutions (Comprehensive Genomic Profiling) in the field of oncology and haematology. Own the Business Planning process for Foundation Medicine testing through development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans to time and budget in accordance with the Business Plan. Work closely with the Marketing Director, Medical Director, Finance, Compliance and a Medical Science Liaison as part of an integrated team to ensure optimum delivery and resourcing of the agreed business plan deliverables. Develop key account and customer plans that are aligned to the agreed strategy. Implement the agreed national business plan which delivers depth of customer experience supported by sales activities and cross functional initiatives to exceed targets. Identify and establish a customer base and continue to seek out/win business opportunities using market intelligence, existing partnerships and expert knowledge within the company. Develop and grow key customer relationships with target audiences; assist in developing business solutions that are mutually beneficial; apply broader business scenarios and customer-focused models to achieve breakthrough results. Implement an efficient order and returns service that meets Irish legal and compliance requirements and the needs of Irish customers and patients. Ensure that this is accompanied by first class Customer Care and support to Healthcare Professionals to minimise the patient consent to patient report timelines. Optimise the available digital solutions to streamline the ordering and tracking process. Liaise closely with Physicians, Pathologists & Genetic coordinators to keep them informed of the status of their order throughout the process and ensure their experience is seamless. Ensure commercially agreed customer prices are accurately set up in the relevant financial processing platform. Ensure a robust reverse logistics procedure is in place to ensure that remaining tissue samples are returned efficiently by FMI to the Irish customer and if required refunds can be facilitated efficiently. Set up reporting tools to monitor and measure customer uptake and customer satisfaction. Take remedial and corrective action as and when required when issues arise. Keep abreast of new service offerings and implement new processes as and when required. Responsible for ensuring promotion to HCPs is consistent with the relevant information documents and encourages the rational use of tests being promote. Responsible for the control and distribution of approved materials, including withdrawal where necessary. Cross functional project involvement / management as required by the business. Requirements. Minimum of 4 to 5 years relevant pharmaceutical sales experience. Relevant 4 to 5 years relevant pharmaceutical marketing experience is strongly preferred. Influencing & leadership skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Advanced presentation skills and business acumen a necessity. Negotiation and Project Management. Experience desirable. Interpersonal skills to interact well with external customers and key decision makers and to work within a team environment. Molecular Diagnostic experience strongly preferred. Experience selling Oncology based tests and services into the Pathology and/or Oncology clinical communities preferred. Demonstrated problem solving, decision making and technical learning.
