Our client, an Irish Financial Services Institution and a household name are seeking a practice trained Accountant to join their multi-dimensional team. You will be part of a very large finance team and will have exposure to significant career prospects, along with the opportunity to specialise within a particular area of interest - regulatory/compliance/audit etc. Responsibilities: Drive continuous improvement across Financial Control with a view to improving, automating and eliminating manual adjustments. Partner with external auditors on timeframes, progress and audit queries. Work as part of a dynamic team to maximise potential and deliver high performance. Responsible for controls that are within remit of the relevant role, ensuring that operational risk is minimised. Keep updated on new accounting and regulatory rules and disclosures and their implications on management, financial and regulatory reporting. Participate in projects and initiatives to optimise and streamline processes and deliver efficiencies for reporting. To be considered you will be a top 10 practice trained Accountant with experience within financial services. ACA/ACCA newly qualified. Salary: €55,000 Benefits Education.
