Our client, a leading international pharmaceutical company are seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join their organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the VAT data on SAP to ensure indirect tax master data is correct. You will also act in an advisory role and support the wider company ensuring SAP is configured to meet new indirect tax requirements in EMEA. Within this autonomous role, you will ensure any business/regulatory changes are mapped from an indirect Tax perspective and work with various divisions of the company to ensure SAP is configured to ensure these changes meet indirect tax requirements. You will also be responsible for managing and governing indirect tax master data and ensure robust processes and controls are established to make sure any changes will not negatively impact the business. Responsibilities: Ensure that proper collaboration happens with Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance teams with regard to VAT related processes and system integrations. Support SAP role design for Indirect Tax - ensure Indirect Tax requirements are understood by relevant teams and that configuration meets Indirect Tax requirements. Ensuring that Indirect Tax Authority changes (e.g. VAT rates, reporting requirements) are communicated well in advance and working with various teams. Working with various departments to ensure Indirect Tax master data is properly maintained and updated. Ensure proper documentation and controls are put in place so any master data changes do not create any Indirect Tax risks. Keeping abreast of Indirect Tax changes and communicate any impact to the business. To be considered for this role, you will have extensive indirect tax experience preferably from a multinational background. You will have exceptional SAP or similar systems experience.
