ChildVision ,the national centre for the education of blind children, is now actively seeking an experienced HR Officer on the basis of a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an ideal role for a HR professional to progress their career in a hands-on role in a busy and varied working environment. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Human Resources and will be involved in HR service delivery to employees, recruitment, reference checking and on-boarding processes, HRIS management, reporting and metrics together with the administration of training schedules and all related HR duties as requested by HR Director. We require the following skills/experience: 3rd level degree in Human Resources. Ideally CIPD qualified. Minimum 2 + years HR experience. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills. Strong IT skills (including MIS. Sound knowledge of employment legislation together with HR best practice.
