ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING. Position: Assistant Director of Nursing. Contract: Permanent Contract. Hours: Full-time 39 per week. Salary range: €53,589– €64,170. Reporting to: Director of Nursing. Closing Date: Friday 11th of May 2018. Clontarf Hospital provides subacute rehabilitation services for orthopaedic and older persons transferred from the acute Dublin Hospitals. It is very much patient centred and services are delivered by multidisciplinary teams working for the benefit of all our patients. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Director of Nursing who has a particular interest in rehabilitation, orthopaedics and/or care of the elderly. We treat all our staff with respect and welcome them to the Hospital environment and Hospital team. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Essential criteria: •Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered. •Have strong clinical knowledge. •Hold 5 years management experience. •Provide innovative effective leadership and vision for the development and advancement of employees and the hospital. •Have the ability to promote and advocate a positive and ethical working environment. •Possess strong IT skills. •Hold a relevant management qualification. Desirable criteria: •Quality improvement and risk management experience and/or. •Nurse Practice and Development.
