Our client, global management consulting company, is looking for a Web Designer to join their team based in Dublin . This is initial 6 months contract with a chance to extend. You will be planning, creating and producing websites that fit company’s customer's requirements. This role requires 70% design and 30% coding. You will be involved in the technical and graphical aspects of pages, producing not just the look of the website, but determining how it works as well, paying particular attention to responsiveness with the ever-evolving growth in device usage. Your responsibilities will include: Meet clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them. Communicate the status of projects to customers including total time estimate, time of completion, and outstanding issues. Define the User Interface Design through information architecture, wireframes, user flows and visual design. Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity. Create light weighed specifications and style guides to supplement prototypes for our implementation partners. Draw up detailed website specifications. Work with WordPress and Sitecore. Design responsive HTML emails. Your Skills and Qualifications: At least 4+ years’ experience. Knowledge and experience of user interface design with consumer applications desired. Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc.) Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of Web technologies HTML , CSS , JavaScript , jQuery . Content Management System ( CMS ): WordPress ; Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch and Invision. Knowledge of Creative Suite e.g. InDesign , Photoshop , Illustrator . Knowledge in standard MS software packages, particularly Word and PowerPoint. High levels of creativity, imagination, initiative and enthusiasm. Curious to find out more about this job opportunity?
