Working with the LotusWorks team as a Commissioning Project Planner, you will be required to provide ongoing scheduling and rescheduling of L3 to L5 commissioning activities for integrated mechanical and electrical equipment and systems support a state of the art data centre. Responsibilities. Develop and continually maintain, on a daily basis if needed, the detailed and integrated commissioning activities schedule and resource plan to meet all the key project milestones. Schedule and highlight all client, sub-contractor and vendor support needed in support of commissioning activities in a timely and clear manner. Develop and communicate ‘story-board’ sequence of the Integrated System Testing of Electrical and Mechanical systems for each phase of the data center commissioning. Continually forecast and escalate resource constraints using best known ‘man-loading’ practices to facilitate on-boarding of resources to meet milestones. Communicate agreed baseline integrated project schedules and then maintain the schedules with daily schedule updates from the electrical and mechanical technical commissioning leads. Continually develop with construction team members and client stakeholder any alternative work fronts for optimizing commissioning resources. Maintain update to date re-work activities log for ongoing scheduling. Develop and benchmark commissioning activity norms for continual improvement. Primary client stakeholder liaison for commissioning detail and logic for the overall build, commissioning and turnover program master schedule. Accountable for reporting accurate project performance updates. Provide forward pass implications of project delays and bottlenecks and feed into the continuous improvement program so repeat delays are avoided. Accountable for reporting accurate project PAS performance updates. Provide weekly project success indicators / dashboard updates. Continually liaise with commissioning snr management and project team. Preparing progress reports from the master schedule, revising logic sequence as required. Requirements. Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project management qualification. 4+ years’ experience as a project planner preferably in a data center or other complex and technically integrated facilities. Detailed knowledge of the interdependencies of electrical systems essential. Position requires an adaptable and flexible team player with excellent communication skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and oral. Multi-tasker with experience of managing concurrent activities and resources.
