SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for a full-time Plant Operator position based in Ringsend, Dublin 4 for a highly successful and rapidly growing company in the building materials sector. This role is an immediate start, initially an agency role with a view to permanency for the right candidate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Starting up and closing down plant; • Assisting electricians and fitters; • General machine cleaning and maintenance; • Maintaining premises clean and tidy; • Other ad hoc duties. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Experience working in a production plant or recycling plant or quarry; • Must have strong initiative and be a self-starter; • Mechanical aptitude; • Must be willing to undergo training on any equipment that has to be operated. WORKING HOURS: The company operates 7 days a week in two shifts - 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. You need to be flexible to work both shifts rotating 2 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks nightshift. RATE OF PAY: €15.00 per hour (includes night premium. JOB CODE: QED0079.
