Customer Service Assistant & Rental Agent- Dunlaoghaire. Company Overview: We are recruiting a Car Rental Sales Agent for a leading provider of car rental services in Ireland. This irish owned company which is a franchise, prides itself in providing high end customer service to Customers. Job Role and Responsibilities: We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable 'Customer Service Assistant & Rental Agent' to join the customer service team. This is customer-focused position with a mixture of inbound Customer Service responsibilities in a 'call-centre' type environment and dealing with customers face-to-face at the Rental Desk. Candidates applying for this role should have excellent customer services skills and the ability to achieve sales targets. Roles and responsibilities will include the following: Delivering excellent levels of customer service. Responsibility for monitoring Customer Services email inbox dealing with customer queries in an accurate, timely and comprehensive manner. Answer phone calls and deal with customer queries coming through to the Customer Services phone line. Addressing any customer queries that come through our social media channels. Invoice control, processing payment transactions and refunds. Develop and maintain Customer Services Handbook. Responsibility for updating content on social media channels. Dealing with inbound reservations over the phone, email and through other booking channels and inputting them into the system. Completing rental transactions and processing paperwork and payments. Selling our full range of products and services to achieve both individual and team KPIs/sales targets. Managing any customer queries and concerns regarding their rental. Reconciling and accounting monies at shift end. Handling of paperwork and general administrative duties. Monitoring the condition and road worthiness of vehicles. Other duties as required by Customer Services Manager/Branch Manager. Role Requirements: A dynamic individual with excellent people, organisational and communication skills who has a passion for sales. Full clean Irish driving licence. Fluency in English. Previous customer services and sales experience, ideally within the Tourism & Leisure sector is preferred but not required. Previous car rental experience advantageous. Flexibility - normal working hours will be between 8am - 6pm rostered over Monday to Sunday with breaks. Competitive base salary with potential is earn commission on sales made. Job Type: Full-time.
