Opportunity to be part of a dynamic small software development company, located in Dublin 2 just off Grafton Street. The company has been in business for 15 years and is hiring two new developer positions to meet increased client requirements. ABOUT THE COMPANY: - The company develops web applications on the Microsoft.Net platform, and provides a full software development service to its clients. - We build mobile apps for android, iOS and Windows Phone. - Our ethos is based on an agile approach to software development, building excellent quality applications tailored to clients specific requirements. - The client portfolio includes projects across a wide range of sectors, including: government, construction, agriculture, auditing, education, and event management. - Enjoy a relaxed casual work environment and plenty of opportunity to contribute your own ideas and expertise to existing and new projects. - Great city centre location with comfortable bright spacious offices in the top floor of a Georgian building. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS. - BSc degree in computer science or similar preferred, but not essential. - Candidate should have experience with .Net and be proficient with C#, Asp.Net and Visual Studio. SQL experience is preferred but not essential. - The role will include involvement in all stages of web development projects, from requirements gathering with the client, through to development, testing, deployment and support. - Windows Phone / iOS / Android skills are welcome but not essential. - A positive attitude, ability to self-motivate and problem solve are essential skills for this position. Initial contract is for a 12 month period, with a permanent position to be negotiated at the end of the contract. This role has the potential to grow into a well-paid permanent job with this company which is commencing an expansion phase. Annual salary guide of 30-35k dependent on experience and ability.
