Our client based in South Dublin is currently recruiting for a Statistician. This role will support statistical analytical activities across the company site to assist with company production activities. It is a permanent position with excellent salary and benefits. The Role: Company statistical support -Provide statistical support to the business during investigations, new process introduction or change implementation. Trouble-shooting and analysis to support identification of the root cause of issues. Be able to set specifications and where needed assess the impact of stability trends on specifications or tightened release limits. Assess stability data. Support for analytical transfers. Understanding of statistical methods for bioassay systems. Project Work - Collaborate closely with key project stakeholders in the manufacturing environment on the provision of statistical services. Support colleagues in their own analyses. Represent statistics at decision making/governance forums to ensure: risks are appropriately quantified and transparent, data are appropriately interpreted, and data referenced have appropriate level of validation and precision. Help, Assist and provide site training on statistical approaches and methodologies. Understand how to use tolerance intervals, ANOVA and ANCOVA methods, control charts, design of experiments, measurement systems analyses, use of sampling tables and construction of sampling plans. Reporting -Write reports that communicate the statistical study outcomes in an informative manner for non-statisticians. Requirements: 5 years relevant experience ideally within a manufacturing environment. Advanced degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field. Expert in the use of statistical tools and methodologies (6-Sigma, Process capability etc) and corresponding software packages. Ability to work across all levels of an organization.
