You’ll join a highly skilled team of competitive dog walkers, film buffs, football enthusiasts and amateur roboteers who are all working towards a shared goal. On the days when the going gets tough, their office dog (a handsome chap named Turbo) will be on standby to provide guidance, support and act as a sounding board for your ideas. As a WordPress Developer, you’ll develop a range of WordPress websites for a broad customer base. Specifically, your role will include: - Theme development. - Plugin development and extensions. - Working with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields. - Extending, managing, improving and debugging legacy code. - Collaborating with the Planning and Design Team. - Providing general support to customers. To be considered for this role, you will need strong PHP development skills. Experience of the following is also essential: - WordPress. - WooCommerce. - Custom Post Types. - Building HTML and/or CSS across the major browsers. - HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS. - MySQL, including the use of efficient SQL commands. - Modern source control (such as Git or BitBucket. Organised and methodical, as a WordPress Developer, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’ll also have a good eye for design and the ability to work to deadlines. Experience of working with Page Builders such as Beaver Builder and WordPress Customiser would be beneficial.
