Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are currently recruiting for a Hospital Sales Specialist. This is a contract until the end of the year. Purpose. To maximise sales to hospitals, in a cost effective manner, in alignment with the Marketing / Sales plan. Deliver sales in line with Company targets. Support the use of product to the end user, including interactions with HCPs and other relevant stakeholders. To analyse current sales data and other relevant information in order to create an effective and detailed operational business plan. Prepare, implement, review and amend (where necessary) time-defined tactical plans, using the required analytical and reporting tools, to achieve agreed sales objectives. To deliver all administration tasks as outlined by the Company in a timely and accurate manner. To collaborate with key stakeholders on various business cases / proposals submitted for significant investments / support. Take personal responsibility for maintaining high ethical standards and operating in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, the company Code of Conduct and internal policies and SOP’s. Person/Skills Profile Science/Medical/Business or Marketing Qualification is desirable. Minimum of 2 -3 years relevant pharmaceutical sales experience. Ability to recognise & adapt selling style. Relevant Marketing experience advantageous. Knowledge of HSE environment & initiatives. Knowledge of disease / therapy area to a reasonable standard. Product knowledge. Familiarity with all relevant company, industry and statutory codes / obligations. IT Skills –proficient in the use of MS-Office, & willingness to adopt existing and new technologies (eg. i-Pad, interactive detailing. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation skills, ensuring effective delivery to a wide range of customer/audiences, at individual/group level. Customer-oriented: focus on relationship building, and customer service. Negotiation and Influencing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact well & collaborate with both internal/external customers and key decision makers. Self-motivated with the ability to work on one’s own initiative. Proven ability to work within a team / cross-functional environment. Results oriented.
