Media Group have a newly created permanent opportunity available for a Commercial Accountant. As Commercial Accountant you will lead the financial planning & analysis of the commercial functions across the group. You will be responsible for all financial commercial reporting and analysis that provides proactive financial and performance analysis supporting day to day business management, strategic decision-making, and medium and long term planning. Key responsibilities: Monitor and report all revenue streams and trends for the group. Ownership of revenue planning models, working closely with the commercial team to prepare bottom up revenue budgets and forecasts for market segments and products meeting requirements of business. Maintain revenue planning models by populating with actuals and forecasts for financial and non financials. Responsible for the analysis of revenue stream trends, the reporting and analysing thereof and for planning of revenue, product analysis and segment revenue. Develop product profitability and margin contribution analysis. Develop and prepare monthly report and analysis of revenue by segment, product with meaningful variance analysis on a monthly basis for revenue trends. Insightful reporting with data visualisation to extract focussed information from large volumes of data. Required qualifications and experience: Qualified accountant with at least 2 years PQE in a commercial environment. Technology, Media, Telecoms or banking. Financial planning experience advantageous.
