Our client, a large multinational organisation with a presence in over 100 countries globally are seeking an Inbound Specialist on a contract basis for their Dublin headquarters. The Position. As the new Inbound Specialist, you will report to the Materials Manager and manage a portfolio of strategic external and internal suppliers, ensuring availability of supply at the optimum inventory levels at the central warehouse. You will be responsible for improving established relationships with the suppliers in your portfolio and conduct regular business review meetings and agreed corrective action if required. You will also support supply chain improvement projects and work closely with other departments when needed. As part of the remit of your new role, you will also: Demonstrate commitment to improvement projects in procurement, planning and inventory processes. Understand the customer expectations and ensure that the fill rate is met and that the inventory levels are optimised at the central warehouse. Collaborate with the strategic suppliers to ensure the KPI performance is met on delivery accuracy and lead-time consistency. The Person. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or have an equivalent, ideally in a Business or Supply Chain discipline. You will have strong knowledge of logistics systems with an understanding of purchasing, planning and inventory control. As part of the individual competencies, the new Inbound specialist will possess: Knowledge of ERP systems and business management tools. Fluent English (another European language would be of benefit.
