Communications Lead - HR. You will have the opportunity to take the lead on communications to support an enterprise-wide people programme for HR, which has a specific focus on career development and new ways of working. The position Communications Lead, People Programme will be in place until year-end 2018, with potential to extend beyond this timeframe. Principle Responsibilities: This new, and exciting role will have responsibility for the following: Developing a communications approach to support the introduction of enterprise-wide people initiative focused on careers - with tailored communications campaigns for the organisation and senior leaders, people leaders and employees. To support the above, working with a variety of business and HR stakeholders to facilitate the design of the communications campaign. Facilitating workshops with employee representative groups to develop and test communications strategy and materials. Designing and facilitating the delivery of a variety of engaging communications materials to successfully launch a new career initiative across the organisation, e.g. interactive PDFs, online portals. Designing a people leader communication toolkit to ensure successful delivery of the people programme e.g. Key messages, supporting presentations, FAQs. Managing and driving execution of communications strategy and plan, adjusting the approach as required. Consistently reviewing and measuring the effectiveness of the communications plan. Attending programme update meetings and brief on all communications updates. Looking for new and inventive ways of communicating with employees and stakeholders - specifically identifying and utilising dynamic digital channels. Managing complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges. Proactively building and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business and HR. Experience & Behaviours. A strong individual with communications experience and capable of strong stakeholder management and ideally experience in cultural / people initiatives. The person (with guidance from the Communications Team) will be responsible for developing an enterprise wide communications campaign for the people programme. This individual will report to the HR Programme Manager and/or Change Management Lead and work in partnership with a variety of stakeholders across HR and the Business. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with big-picture thinking as well as having a strong attention to detail, be organised, and work well under pressure.
