Description

My client, global management consulting company, is looking for experienced Graphic Designer to join their digital team based in Dublin . This is initial 6 months contract with a big chance to extend. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of digital design. The hourly rate is €16. Your responsibilities will include: Liaising with clients in order to understand and interpret their business needs and target audience. Maintain an open dialogue with customers and understand expectations. Communicate the status of projects to customers including total time estimate, time of completion etc. Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts. Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity. Design & produce brochures, large format printing e.g. posters, banners etc., invitations, social posts, newsletters, calendars, signage, event collateral etc. Formatting high-end PowerPoint decks. Designing infographics. Design and create original material using basic elements of graphic design (i.e., color theory, typography, layout, design software. Creating images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing alongside other electronic tools and techniques, to meet design briefs. Outsource projects/tasks to internal or external service providers as required (e.g., external printers). Obtain bids. Schedule production. Accurately track time to projects on a daily basis. What we are expecting from you: At least 6+ years relevant industry experience. In possession of a relevant degree or professional qualification(s. Proficient in and/or knowledge of relevant software packages i.e. Photoshop and Illustrator , InDesign , 3D graphics packages, and motion graphics software such as After Effects . Demonstrable skills in illustration, photography and iconography are an advantage. Able to present concepts and justify design decisions. Able to multi-task and perform well under pressure. Ability to work well as part of a team in a collaborative environment. Able to work independently and identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently. Careful attention to detail and high-quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High levels of creativity, imagination, initiative and enthusiasm.
