Customer Service Controller. Dublin. €Excellent DOE. Our client is one of the world’s largest Caterpillar suppliers of construction, earth moving and power systems equipment. They are now seeking a Customer Service Controller to join their team. As a Customer Service Controller, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding experience to our client’s customers by ensuring that resources meet their needs. You will deliver our client’s service strategy through understanding customers’ needs and ensuring that all the elements required to complete work are available. It is by this activity that you will drive customer loyalty and control the end-to-end repair process. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the repairs process, you will ensure that Engineers and support staff are operating in a safe and compliant manner and environment at all times. Your other accountabilities will include: - Managing and coaching 6 – 10 Engineers. - Addressing any performance issues and carrying out regular 1-2-1s with staff. - Ensuring the most cost effective and efficient solution is delivered. - Allocating costs and recovering expenses. - Driving a ‘first time fix’ mentality. - Communicating with customers throughout the process. To be considered for this role, you must have: - At least three years’ experience in a technical or mechanical engineering role OR completion of a technical or mechanical apprenticeship. - Leadership experience. - Experience of service scheduling and working with field teams. - Good knowledge and experience of mobile and fixed equipment, components and systems. Process-focused and commercially aware, as a Customer Service Controller, you will be a champion of safety, highly organised and a strong communicator. A customer driven approach will be key, as will a strong sense of ownership for customers’ care and experience. Experience within a similar role in a comparable industry environment would be beneficial, as would a foundation level qualification in engineering. Knowledge of any of the following would also be an advantage: DBSi Work order system, SAP, FSAT, Vision Link, Masternaut, Cat SIS, 1-2-1 application or Product Support Deal Sheet.
