The Role: Drive the ongoing definition of foundational design patterns for this global market leader. Demonstrate your expert execution skills in the creation of design assets with relevant design tools. Manage timelines and input from design and business stakeholders. Contribute to the product development process utilizing agile software development methods and agile design. Be open to new challenges and have a desire to develop as a designer and learn new skills. End-to-end including user research/interviews right through to the visual. All about you: 4 years of experience as a UI designer. A keen interest in UX trends, tools and techniques. Up to speed with current UI design patterns and tools. Experience designing for mobile apps and responsive websites. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Portfolio demonstrating both design process and pixel perfect UI. In-depth understanding of visual design principles. Experience using Sketch, Adobe suite, InVision, After effects, Zeplin, UXPin or other wireframing tools. Experience with interaction tools: AE, Principle, Framer or similar. An understanding of HTML and CSS. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This role is an initial 12 month contract with a view to permanency.
