Prestigious organisation in Dublin City Centre have an opportunity available for a Head of Monitoring, who will be responsible for providing Business Advice and Support Services to the Group. The Head of Monitoring Business Advice and Support Services will provide operational advice and support to companies within the group, ensure that the programme of supports offered by the Department is appropriate and relevant on an ongoing basis, work with the head office and consultants to oversee and implement the transformation project and build relationship with the regulators. Key Responsibilities Ensuring that the group get the full benefit of the Department's advisory and support services. Managing the Monitoring staff in ensure the department achieves its obligations. Convening regular meetings of the Department's staff and ensuring effective follow-up on issues raised. Supervising the work of direct reports. Ensuring the training and development of staff. Carrying out performance management in respect of staff and setting clear objectives. Making recommendations to the CEO and HR team on staffing requirements, supervise the work of staff reporting directly to them. Providing advice and guidance to group companies on operational matters. Preparation of an annual operational plan and budget for approval by the CEO. Initiating policy proposals, identifying opportunities for enhancing the performance of the Department and advising the CEO of all matters affecting the performance of services within the Department. Representing the business, as agreed with the CEO, in its contacts with group companies, stakeholders and other external bodies. Ensuring the implementation of the Board Strategy in matters relevant to the Department. Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements coming within the Department's functional area. Undertaking such special projects as may be directed from time to time by the CEO. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with the Regulators. Qualification and Experience. Business or Accountancy Degree or equivalent. A relevant professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA. A proven track record in managing a medium sized team of people (10 - 15 staff. Five years' experience working in a similar position.
