BD is now recruiting a PQS Operator (Warehouse) whose role is Supply/Receiving, Material Handling, Warehousing, Shipping, Engineering Stores and other Supply Chain related services to ensure smooth operation of Plant, while meeting quality, safety and housekeeping requirements in accordance with GMP. Our site in Drogheda is commencing a major upgrade and refurbishment of all facilities. In additionto this investment there are a number of new lines being brought into production. This BD facility isthe only one globally which manufactures one of our new PosiFlush ™ products. With this steady growth and expansion taking place we are now recruiting a PQS Operator (Warehouse) whose role is Supply/Receiving, Material Handling, Warehousing, Shipping, Engineering Stores and other Supply Chain related services to ensure smooth operation of Plant, while meeting quality, safety and housekeeping requirements in accordance with GMP. As PQS Operator (Warehouse) your responsibilities are to include: Daily Loading /off–loadingof Raw Materials/Finished product. Control Shipping of Finished goods, including setting up Pro-forma’s/Log tags for each container. Operate Fork trucks and EPT in strict compliance with safety codes. Work in Resin Store room to insure resin bins are full and all lines are being fed. Continuous monitoring of stock levels and notifications of low stock items. Train up in all areas in Warehouse/Engineering stores to insure areas are fully manned at all times. Work closely with our subcontracted storage facility to insure pick lists both from and too are accurate and train up on SOP relevant to this operation. Work closely with existing Warehouse/Engineering stores PQS on day to day issues for running the warehouse and insure all lines have appropriate materials to insure continuous running. Insuring shipping requirements for Dun Loaghaire including ASD material and NS material through the daily Dashboard requirements are met Daily receipting of Raw Material deliveries into SAP system/Flexnet System. Check and replenish all Production Kan-Ban on a Daily basis when required. Issue materials to SAP cost center from previous shift and through current shifts Carry out Daily/Weekly/Monthly cycle counting on both SAP and Mesi as per Planner Maintaining high standard of housing. Keeping in stores and Warehouse area’s Maintaining a high Standard of EHS and follow all safety procedures. Creating Delivery notes/Commercial invoices through the AS400 system for Exports Covershift holidays and sick days on 4 shift rotations when required Complete all training through C2C as required. Cooperate fully, without reservation, with changes in technology and embrace any requirements to acquire additional skills, as needed. The successful candidate will have a strong background in controlling materials in a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will be technically qualified with a Fork Truck Driving License to cover Reach truck/Counter balance/EPT Leaving Cert. You will be an excellent communicator who can interact with all levels of colleagues. You will have good SAP & literacy skills. You will be hands on and have a sense of urgency. Ability to function as part of a team and work on own initiative. The ideal candidate will have some GMP/GDP experience and high level of safety awareness.This role will include Shift work, previous experience of Shift patterns is preferred but is not essential.
