Due to continued growth and success, my client is currently recruiting for the role of Clinical Research Business Executive. This role will play an operational and strategic role in developing the business and commercial activities, as a member of the Business Development team. You will develop new business relationships to expand the client base and nurture and grow existing business relationships. Key responsibilities: • Generate sustainable growth through new client generation and optimisation of on-going client relationships. • Actively and successfully manage the sales process from lead generation to close. o Optimize relationships with existing clients to retain and grow business. o Develop new business relationships, generate leads and establish new clients. o Introduce new products and services to the external environment and take responsibility for direct selling and meeting targets. o Develop and manage the end-to-end process for all RFIs and RFPs. o Ensure all sales opportunities to the company are captured and explored. • Achieve revenue targets aligned to business plan. • Represent Company at meetings, events and tradeshows with a view to gaining new business leads and contacts. • Conduct and analyse competitive intelligence to expand market share. Qualifications/Industry Experience: Third level degree preferably in business discipline or life sciences. Proven track record in marketing or business development in life sciences or experience in client-facing role (e.g. account management, project management) in clinical research sector. Thorough understanding of the clinical development process. Commercial acumen with the ability to understand the organisation as a business. Direct business development experience in the clinical research or life sciences area with a consistent pattern of success with multiple clients over a sustained period OR. Operational experience in a client-facing role in the clinical research sector, such as project management or account management, with demonstrated success and productive client relationships over a sustained period.
