Growing manufacturing business in North Dublin are looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's financial performance and working closely with the senior management team to maximize profit. Key Responsibilities. To understand the systems thoroughly and prepare a series of financial, forecasting and operational reports to assist the management. Implementing cost controls and profitability tracking. To prepare any ad hoc reports and analysis that may be required from time to time. To work with the departmental managers to ensure that their monthly report is accurate and that all costs are passed onto the client and invoiced accordingly. To provide recommendations to administrative systems of the business. To implement the change in expense policy and provide governance on claims and returns. Continually seeking to improve Financial Controls, Business Commerciality, KPI's and Procedures. To assist with the variance analysis and board reporting on the financial accounts. Overseeing and approving spending including job costing and purchase order issuing. Qualifications and Experience. Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent. Manufacturing background or related industry. Strong cost control experience. Excellent influencing skills. At least five years' experience working in a similar position.
