Description

Maintenance Manager (pharma) - Dublin. Based within the Dublin manufacturing facility, your role will be part of the Technical Services Function, supporting a variety of key areas onsite. You will provide an effective technical maintenance management service to all production departments on the Dublin site including Bulk Formulation, Filling and Packing, and Aerosol Gassing. You will be working with a number of cross-functional teams with a high-level of autonomy. Key Responsibilities include: • Manage production maintenance and ensure that “best in class” standards are embedded within operations. • Liaise with the Department customers, i.e. the operations business units, ensuring that their requirements are fully understood and that their expectations are met. • Actively work with manufacturing in leading the resolution of technical deviations, ensuring effective countermeasures are implemented to ensure Quality and Compliance standards are constantly improved. • Own all maintenance engineering challenges and provide timely solutions. • Participate in daily walkthroughs and visual management meetings. • Support achievement of site-wide goals particularly Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Financial targets. • Ensure a responsive and committed culture is created to ensure rapid resolution of operation challenges and sound decision-making. • Provide resources and work with all Manufacturing Business Units to manage the implementation of new or modified processes, • Actively manage team members to develop technical, leadership and managerial capabilities. • Introduce new techniques and ideas. Interested applicants should have: • At least 10 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry working in a Technical Engineering environment which includes experience in a Leadership role in an operations environment. • Knowledge of and experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills. • Deep technical and scientific knowledge to drive equipment reliability improvements. • Proven track record of delivering high performance through development and coaching of a team. • Ability to work with a cross-functional team of managers at site level. • Experience in implementing TMP in a fast paced operations environment would be a distinct advantage. Education: • Third level degree qualification preferably in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Chemical / Process Engineering. • Preferably a Master’s degree in Business or Operational Management. • Certification in Lean six sigma / Black Belt would be an advantage.
