Our client KCR Builders Providers Ltd, is a supplier of building material, DIY products, Solid Fuel and related information services -with premises in Kimmage and off the Nangor Road (both in Dublin 12) is an established family business supplying building materials since 1989. Our customer base is predominantly builders and DIY enthusiasts but we are open to everyone. We are a small team of dedicated staff with service ranging from 3 years to 12 years. Our team work closely together to ensure the customer receives the best service possible. Lead, motivate, train, support and develop a team of circa 5 colleagues through active management to deliver excellent standards of customer service. Manage the Branch ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets, service and margins. Supervise daily activities in line with business objectives and client site instructions. Provide feedback and manage staff performance in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety. Ensure the best possible presentation and merchandising of the store at all times. Collect debtors, as and when required, in line with credit terms. Follow up on team's quotations - monitor quotes / won lost and reasons why. Build relationships and grow sales with the existing customer base. Negotiate prices with new and existing customers whilst meeting sales and margin targets. Monitor stock levels at branch ensure stock levels are kept at an acceptable level. Liaise with suppliers and management regarding new stock lines and obsolete stock. Manage and prioritise deliveries between customers and branches. Manage communications between the sales team, warehouse team and delivery personnel. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS. Past experience in Builders Providers - minimum 3 Years. Strong Builders Providers product knowledge. Past experience in managing and training staff. Cash and end of day management. History of meeting sales targets. Strong understanding of stock control. Store merchandising experience. Full driving licence. Strong IT skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work calmly under pressure. 3rd Level Education an advantage.
