Opportunity for a Full Stack Application Developer to work with a client that is working on exciting IOT projects in Dublin City Centre. The Full Stack Application Developer will collaborate with a passionate team to plan, build, and maintain the user interface for an Internet of Things Application Enablement Platform. You will participate in the full life cycle of a build including functional specifications, work estimates, design, development, cross-browser testing, bug resolution and deployment. Bring your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to translate ideas and designs into great experiences. Work with Technologies such as Bootstrap, D3 graphics, JQuery, moustache, handlebars, etc. Work with project requirements to decide on the best technologies for implementing the job, and learn how to get it done. Essential skills: An excellent understanding of Javascript, Node, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. Proficient JavaScript developer. Ability to build responsive layouts. Knowledge of Chrome and other browsers debugging tools. Experience working with Rest APIs. In depth knowledge of front-end best practices. Experience server side scripting language Python and/or Node.Js. Strong portfolio showing examples of clean cut projects is highly desired. Fundamental skills in geometry required for graphical applications. Experience with mapping technologies and GIS. Third level qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline. Experience with frontend performance optimization. Desirable skills: Experience with agile methodologies and approaches (Agile, Kanban. Experience working with Charting libraries. Experience with rapid prototyping. Good proficiency in algorithms and data structures. Web application security, AAS, Passport, OAuth, API tokens etc. Tomcat/NGINX web server. Experience working with web sockets. Experience in Fleet management a plus.
