This role sits within the Production Support department. Role & Responsibilities: Reporting to the Production Support Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the introduction of new products to Finished Goods Manufacturing Ireland (FGMIE). He/she will be the production representative on new product introduction (NPI) projects and identify, lead and deliver on process improvement projects within the production areas. He/she will liaise closely with the Production Business Units and with technical support groups as part of the project team. The primary tasks of the role include: Implement actions required to meet project deadlines. Generate Qualification and Production documentation (e.g. PQs, LPRs, SOPs etc. Co-ordinate activities across production to meet project needs. Ensure production needs are met during the design, implementation and qualification stages to ensure a smooth transition to commercial manufacture. The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification (NFQ Level 8 or higher) in Science, Engineering or a relevant discipline and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong understanding of pharmaceutical GMP are essential. Knowledge of bulk production, filling and packaging processes and techniques would be an advantage. This is not a shift role. The ideal candidate will possess the following: A strong understanding of cGMPs and regulatory requirements, preferably from experience in operations, including NPI, tech transfer and launch supply coordination. Proven ability to lead by example and have a can do attitude with an enthusiasm for completing work on time. Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to work. Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, cGMP regulations and company standards. Demonstrated capabilities in interacting effectively with executive, operator and craft groups. Flexibility to support areas outside of his/her role in order to meet department goals. Lean six sigma certified to a Green belt level or higher would be an advantage. Excellent opportunity.
