Our client is a growing technology company, providing 1000s of users with software solutions that enables businesses to visualise business critical information. They are searching for a dynamic individual to lead their Sales Team. Role Purpose: Responsible for new business generation; developing and executing sales strategies. Lead, develop and recruit a team of Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Executives (“the sales team”) to win new customers. Success metrics for the position are personal and team-wide quota attainment, total revenue growth, and strategic customer wins. As an experienced Sales Manager you will: Grow a new team of inside sales executives, who focus on acquiring new customers. Actively recruit and grow an inside sales team. Manage the growing team through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular coaching. Develop / manage a sales pipeline in line with corporate objectives. Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation from our product trials and pilots, leads from marketing and the qualification, evaluation, and closing of deals. Work closely with the Head of Marketing and other members of the members. Applicants will need: A demonstrable 4-5+ years of relevant sales managerial experience. High volume, transactional sales management experience. To be an inspirational leader, a manager who teams perform for and a coach/mentor to professionals at varying levels. A creative approach to problem-solving. An entrepreneurial flair and be an exceptional listener and a great communicator at every level. As 90% of our customers are based in North America, the successful candidate may be required to work occasionally to from 1pm to 9pm. Role Objectives: Provide detailed activity reports, opportunity management, quotes, and weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting. Direct day to day activities to ensure that all sales quota and management objectives are met. Meet monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for sales orders. Operationalize our overall approach to win new customers, increase customer satisfaction, and identify upsell opportunities across the customer base. Optimize and improve the volume and velocity of the Sales Pipeline. Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly Sales forecasts or as required. Maintain customer intelligence in CRM. Run a strong operational process around pipeline and opportunity to drive maximum productivity and performance from the sales team. Collaborate with the Senior Customer Success Manager to continually improve the handover, on-boarding and identification of High Potential opportunities (Upsells. Collaborate with Marketing to continually improve our sales and marketing campaigns. Deal closure of sustainable and profitable multi-year deals (where possible. Develop and optimise successful repetitive sales processes that enables the sales team to perform. Hire, motivate, coach and provide training to increase productivity and skill sets of reporting employees. Package includes competitive base salary plus bonus structure and benefits.
