Enterprise Risk Analyst. Reference: R9953598. Finance - Dublin Based. 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to: Finance Partner. We are the helpful energy company. Role Responsibility. Reporting directly to the Finance Partner (FP) but with a dotted line reporting to Head of Risk UK&I, the Enterprise Risk Analyst will occupy a key governance role, using knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to drive a robust ERM framework & help develop a mature risk culture within BGE. The candidate will ensure that BGE's business risks are identified, objectively assessed and managed, while supporting the development and implementation of business controls framework across BGE. Key Accountabilities. Developing & implementing robust Enterprise Risk procedures for BGE; Reviewing & challenging the content of business risk registers to help ensure complete & accurate identification, assessment & quantification of risks; Driving process improvements in Enterprise Risk, e.g. systems, reporting, meetings, and supporting the development of improved links between risk management and control frameworks; Providing training, guidance & direction on Enterprise Risk right across the business; Input into the quarterly Risk Assurance Control Committee (RACC) and challenge thinking as required. Prepare reports, minutes and meeting packs for the RACC meetings, while also manage the reporting of BGE's priority risks for onward escalation to Group Risk; Supporting the development and implementation of a new controls framework for operational risks across BGE; Providing insight and assistance to BGE's audit programme Complete ad-hoc requests as required. Knowledge, Skills and Experience. Relevant degree (e.g. Business/Finance); Qualification/experience of running Enterprise Risk processes, e.g. IRM Certificate, and/or understanding of related areas (e.g. EHS, Audit, BCM, Controls. ACA / ACCA / CIMA member would be an advantage but not a requirement. Energy, commodity retail or commodity wholesale industry experience would be an advantage but not a necessity. Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences in multiple formats. Accustomed to working in an environment with a high level of accountability.
