Dublin Discovered Boat Tours are currenty seeking to fill the position of Vessel Operator. Applicants are being sought for the role of Skipper onboard our Vessels that operate sightseeing cruises on the River Liffey and the Grand Canal. Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess previous experience in Boat handling and have a demonstrable level of competence in a marine environment. Applicants must also possess the following: 1. An approved certificate of competence in Boat handling issued by the Irish Sailing Association , Department of Transport or equivalent Authority. 2. First Aid certification. 3. Prior experience in boat handling. 4. Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills. Fluent written and spoken English is essential to the role. In addition to the above previous experience in a management or supervisory role is desirable.
