The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Unit of the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government is responsible for Geographical Information Systems and projects, andrelated data and information within the Department. Assisting the GIS Manager and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders thesuccessful candidate will be involved with delivering geospatial applications, products and services; collating and managing data; supporting the Department’s Open Data initiative; and extending the use of GIS and supporting evidence based decision making.  .
