Our Client is the largest mutual Life, Pensions and Investment Company in the UK. As a Proposition Specialist you will report to the Proposition Lead based in Dublin City Centre. Responsibilities: Identify new market and product opportunities based on deep customer and Broker insight that could fit existing propositions or lead to the development of new propositions. Provide deep insight into customer attitudes and behaviours and fully interpret such insights, translating them into winning strategic proposals and business plans. Support the end-to-end development and implementation of the companies' propositions, adhering to the group risk and compliance frameworks and the group proposition development processes whilst ensuring regulatory approvals are in place to support the delivery of revenue, sales and profitability targets. Throughout each proposition's lifecycle, help to undertake consumer testing of customers' product experience and user experience. Develop a deep understanding of the Irish Protection market, the products available and their USP. Help identify improvements, new developments and tools for the broker online user experience - information and transactional websites - based on continuous examination of digital developments across a range of industries. Management of the relationship with key internal stakeholders (operations, projects and sales) to ensure the successful implementation of proposition plans. Delivery of research, papers and new propositions on time, on budget and of the required quality. Ability to manage a process of delivering detailed requirements to projects/IT and operations ensuring the quality and conformance of the resulting systems. Ensuring relevant market and competitor analysis is both undertaken and utilised. Utilisation of test and learn capability to pilot new ideas/concepts where appropriate. Maintaining appropriate systems and controls to enable the measurement and management of risks within the function and ensuring all risks of a significant nature are reported. Lead and drive the future propositions idea generation and screening forum. Monitoring changes in legislation or regulation and assess impact on the business proposition or on future market demand. Skills required: 3- 5 years' experience in designing financial services propositions that meet identified consumer demand and achieve commercial success. In-depth knowledge and experience of developing protection products and as an additional potential benefit, investment and pension products. Proven ability to be fully conversant with the details operationally whilst simultaneously operating at a strategic level. Good understanding of regulatory/legislative framework within the financial services market. Degree level, Masters a bonus. QFA qualified also desirable.
