Joint Associate Professor/Professor of Clinical Nursing. The post of Associate Professor/Professor of Clinical Nursing is established to support and strengthen clinical nursing research and innovation, education, leadership and clinical practice in clinical nursing services, particularly in the context of the service mission and models of care offered by Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services. The post holder will develop and strengthen the clinical-academic partnerships that underpin UCD’s engagement with health and care services to support the development of research, education and training, evidence-based practice and practice development in palliative care, chronic illness care and the care of older people. The post holder will have a key leadership role within Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services, the School, and the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences. S/he will provide leadership in clinical nursing and related research, education and policy development. Note: This permanent appointment will be made at the grade of either Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with the academic profile and experience. 95 Associate Professor Salary Scale: €67,983 - €94,966 per annum or. 95 Professor Salary Scale: €83,800 - €111,159 per annum.
