Joint Professor/Full Professor of Children’s Nursing. 010608. UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems. Joint Professor/Full Professor of Children’s Nursing. Permanent. The post of Professor/Full Professor of Children’s Nursing is established to support and strengthen children’s nursing research and innovation, education, leadership and clinical practice in children’s nursing services, particularly in the context of the new model of Care for Paediatric Healthcare Services in Ireland and the Integrated Care Programme for Children that underpin the new Children’s Hospital Group. The post holder will develop and strengthen the clinical-academic partnerships that underpin UCD’s engagement with child and adolescent health services to support the development of research, education and training, evidence-based practice and practice development in child and adolescent health. The post holder will have a key leadership role within the Children’s Hospital Group and its associated services, the School, the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences. S/he will provide leadership in children’s nursing and related research, education and policy development. Note: This permanent appointment will be made at the grade of either Professor or Full Professor, commensurate with the academic profile and experience of the recommended candidate. 95 Professor Salary Scale: €83,800 - €111,159 per annum or. 95 Full Professor Salary Scale: €114,740 - €111,159 per annum.
